Coffee Co. is a food/drink service app for a coffee company that allows user to enjoy different features such as ordering coffee in-app.
About The Project
Problem
Caffeine addicts often find themselves in difficult situation where the coffee shop they are at is packed, especially if they are working during the rush hour.
Insights
People are more likely to place an order online and have it delivered or they can opt for the 'click and collect' option.
Solution
The solution is a platform where users can use the services to
order coffee and also book a seat at the coffee shop.
Goal

To have a mobile coffee app which allow users to reserve a table and also be able to check the capacity of the coffee shop.
Embarking
To begin this project, I started off by getting inspirations from other existing coffee apps. I identified the existing functions and services they have. I will also be doing primary and secondary research. Most existing coffee mobile apps do not have the function that allows users to reserve a table or even to check the capacity of the coffee shop.

User Research
What is the goal?
The goal is to create a platform where users can purchase, reserve a table and also "click-and-collect" their order.
Who are the users?
As this is a coffee app, the assumed persona would be a middle-aged caffeine-lover.
What do they need?
In order to understand their needs, I did in depth user interviews with several people to help me create personas, which are visual representations of user groups. This will then help me with my project research analysis and design work.

josefine is a coffee-lover. she is a workaholic and always finds it difficult to get her daily boost of caffeine due to the crowd.
struggles: finds it tough to get her coffee at the nearby coffee shop due to the rush hour
goals: to be able to get her coffee without waiting in line for hours
liam, 38
liam cannot go a day without his cup of coffee. always go to the nearby coffee shop for his coffee.
struggles: sometimes the nearby coffee shop is packed and he have to wait in line for his coffee
goals: to be able to know where is the nearest vacant coffee shop
Exploration of Ideas & Concepts
After synthesising the user interviews and clarifying what problems to solve, I used storyboarding to place the personas in their environment. After sketching user scenarios I could identify what to focus on.
Low-Fidelity Wireframes
Based on the exploration of ideas and concepts, I began to design the onboarding process and the different features in low-fidelity.
